Meet the designer - behind the scenes at Angelic Kitten Couture

To designer Yvonne Hazel Hill, couture isn’t just a job; it’s a way of life.  Her passion for cutting edge, high quality design has been honed through a real love of her work, combined with over six years working and teaching in the fashion world

Born and brought up on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire, Yvonne became transfixed with creating individual, yet wearable, accessories from an early age.  But what is most surprising, is that Yvonne has had little ‘formal’ training, with the majority of her skills self-taught.

She explains: “I am constantly coming up with new ideas.  And although I absolutely love to follow fashion, some of my most inspirational work has come from my everyday life, such as holidays and nature.”

All this is great news for Yvonne’s customers who can continue to be thrilled with her fresh and ever-evolving design collection.
 
And despite Yvonne’s wealth of experience, she has recently teamed up with North East business woman, Jane West, who brings complementary skills into the design partnership.  Jane’s enthusiasm and business acumen mean that the dynamic duo is set to take Angelic Kitten Couture to even greater heights.
